The office of the Director of Studies plays a pivotal role in coordinating all the school programmes. The office promotes an environment conducive to academic excellence and student success through innovative study programmes, partnerships and responsive academic advice. As an office, we set targets for curriculum implementation and evaluation, coordinate remedial programmes and formulate policies to ensure that high standards are adhered to in the teaching and learning process. The office works in collaboration with other departments to support the goals and vision of the school.
The school is identified as a Centre of Excellence in the region under the Economic Stimulus Programme (ESP). We believe with this honour comes a greater responsibility. We accepted this responsibility and all our effort are directed towards making this a reality. We are happy that the School is proving itself as an institution that nurtures academic excellence. The school has been registering impressive results with most of our candidates gaining entry into universities, Diploma Colleges and other tertiary institutions to pursue higher education.
In the true spirit of its mission the staff at Maliki Boys works towards producing students who can compete favourably in all spheres of life. We train our students to believe that hard work and discipline are the hallmarks of success in academics. This is what inspires our teaching and fuels our energies to work even harder. To discharge this pivotal role, the office of the director of studies works in liaison with a team of academic HODs who form the academic committee. The current academic committee members include;
- Director Of Studies, Mr Edwin Rotich
- Examination, Mr Wasimela Nathan
- Mathematics, Mr Soita J. Maruti

We welcome all our stakeholders, friends and guests to visit us regularly to receive information on what we are doing, where we are and what we hope to achieve in the immediate, medium and long term.
